If Houses Could Talk ...

House hunting today and we've seen a very lovely one. It needs TLC and sensitive renovation. The stair case is the integral part to its charm and 'if' it could talk I wonder what it would say.

I wonder about the people who have tread on its risers and ran down its giddy turns. Conversations that drifted upwards. Who's hands may have polished the bannisters. A very grand home with lots of memories.

It has a very strong character and perhaps just perhaps we might live there, wouldnt that be fun!
