Polar beer

Two stuffed polar bears keep a glazed eye on proceedings at Ølhallen (The Beer Hall) in Tromsø. It is Tromsø's oldest pub, and for many years it was its only pub - as the pamphlets in the bar say, "Many felt that being banned was like having lice". Despite its early ridiculously early closing time (6pm), its long tradition (and the stuffed bears) make it a favourite haunt of the Jarvis whilst on operations in northern Norway.
