The Chaos Bros

The Open Championship

Big family day out today to The Open Championships at St Andrews.

The Bros & I went early this morning with Chaos Daddy joining us at lunchtime after working. Those of you watching on BBC TV this morning might have seen Chaos Daddy coaching at the PGA Swingzone! The Bros had a fab day, starting off at the junior golf zone practising their putting & chipping, they even got filmed by ESPN hence the groovy Golf Roots t-shirts. The bright orange made them very easy to keep track off amongst the thousands of people there.

No cameras or mobiles allowed, we even got our bags searched.... So the only shot of the day is this one when we took the buggy back to car to swap it for the baby backpack.

We got a fantastic view of the latter stages with a prime position just by the 1st Tee & 18th Green. The winner, Louis Oosthuizen, thoroughly deserved his victory after playing so well over the last few rounds. He took a lap of honour past the spectators around the 1st & 18th so we got a great view of him proudly brandishing The Claret Jug.

A thoroughly marvellous day out for our golf mad family.
