Smaug

This was a birthday present from my better half and the guy who carved it (Jerome). The creature on top is of course Smaug, the carving was based on the illustration by John Howe, which is in turn taken from J. R. R. Tolkien's the Hobbit ;-)

The carving by the way is part of a fountain pen box :-)
