Port of Den Helder

We arrived in the middle in the night in Den Helder. For centuries known as the major Naval Forces port of The Netherlands. But as the role of the Navy is getting smaller and the Offshore segment bigger, I think it can be called an Offshore Port now with Navy facilities. Not only the naval ships lost their beautiful lines of earlier days, what to think of this Vroon Supplier Base Express? I don't like it, and that is an understatement. I don't doubt that there is a plan behind this design, less water over her foreship and a better windresistance, but still; I don't like it.
