You know the reputation Posties have for being bitten by dogs don't you? Well this dog would kill you with kindness! Mia is a boxer, she and her owner are among my favourites on my post round. Mia turned 4 a few days ago. She is such a lovely thing. She knows when I am delivering the post or when it's one of my co-workers, if it's not me she doesn't bother getting off her chair. If she sees me though she's at the window and then at the door begging to be let out for some fuss.

Of course being a good postie I sometimes have a dog biscuit in my pocket for a treat. And yes I did ask first if it was ok to do that.
