Tumbling back down to Earth

What more can I say. After the perfect weekend, the start of the week has brought that typical Monday feeling - heavy eyes in need of matchsticks, a slow brain in need of winding, and a heart that's getting used to the absence of a long-distance loved one again.

Monday's never get any easier as the weekend's memories secure themselves in the past. But, a good night's sleep is all that's needed and I shall view the world with fresh eyes tomorrow. Perhaps then, a little more than broken rubble will catch my eye!
