Mallard

One of a brood of Mallard Ducks abandoned last year, now fully grown.

Going to be a bit short of time for the next couple of weeks as the boss has departed to Spain for a short break and I have to work some extra hours to keep the office open.

I was a bit disappointed with myself this morning, the little Egrets were in residence but too far away and I wasted half an hour trying to get a decent capture with equipment that frankly wasn't up to it. I must learn not to push this camera to places it just can't go :(
