Too big for the hand

This is going to be the last picture like this. As you can see he's gotten a little too big for Gill's hand now. He is eating for himself, even if he doesn't always get it right.
The total number of babies has just risen to 16, we picked up a small girl from the vets tonight.
There appears to be a large number of females this year. Last year we mainly had boys coming in, but this year it's girls.
We have four females ready for release, all we need are some sites. We try to release where they were found, but there are a lot of finders who don't want them back.
I'm having trouble understanding why anyone wouldn't want to see wildlife coming into their garden, it can be such a pleasure, being able to sit and watch animals and birds that come into your garden to feed and explore.
