Top of the Rockies
La Plata peak (Furthest to the left) Mt Elbert (middle) Mount Massive(to the right) and their neighboring 13,000 foot peaks dominate the skyline to the west side of the Arkansas Valley. Mt Elbert is the tallest of the three. The two highest peaks in the Rockies are 14, 433' (4,400 meters)and 14,421' (4,396m)respectively. All 14,000 peaks within the Rockies are contained with in the borders of Colorado. Only California and Alaska have Higher peaks
