A colourful evening

I'm going to have fun creating a card for a friend tonight - it's going to be all about cakes. The paint palette is a bit dusty, but I'll squeeze some new paint onto the old stuff. I wonder if people read patterns on paint palettes as they do patterns in tea leaves? This palette of mine has been in the creation for about five years!
