This date...

.... is always a sad one for me, as it's the one on which my Mum died. Although a very long time ago now, it still affects me powerfully. Looking back on what I wrote last year made me cry a little, but on seeing this sky I knew she would appreciate its beauty and would not want me to be sad today. I will probably go for a walk on my own somewhere peaceful to reflect, maybe the monastery up the mountain, and then rejoin the others for another day of our annual holiday. I wanted to post a link to a song which meant something to her, and remembered that this was one of her favourites. Love you Mum. X.
