La Faviere At Last!

So here we are in La Faviere at last! We arrived mid-afternoon after a long, hot drive down from Lyon with a car packed to bursting point!!

We are all in 2 neighbouring apartments in a block right next to the sea and our balconies look out onto the bay and beach - beautiful! The 'we' are me, Derek, Ilona, Andy (in one apartment) and Simon, Theresa and wee Thomas (aged nearly 3) in the other.

Simon and family eventually found their way to the apartments from Marseille Airport, though Simon forgot who he had hired the car from and got lost en route so the fact that they finally got here was a minor miracle!

We stayed in for dinner tonight and watched a gorgeous firework display which we watched from our balconices. A great start to the hols :-)
