An afternoon under the trees

Back in Gent for the gig later tonight, but went out for the afternoon to the old house at Mariakerke where the garden is open for families to sit or stroll about by the lake and there is a variety of ancient caravans under the trees where you can have a tarot reading or your palm read. I think I understood that there was even someone who would read your feet. Hmm. It was a lovely peaceful afternoon, though; chatting with Catherine and Danny and having something to eat and drink before the evening mayhem of Gent in festival time.

Although the performance was quite hard work for technical reasons, the evening was tremendous. Gent absolutely buzzing, and yes, they had managed to finish most of the crazy roadworks in time.
