Arantxa

Meet Arantxa, the lovely receptionist at the Hotel Blaumar, where we stay whenever we come to Cadaques. She's got a ready smile and, as you can see in her eyes, a good sense of humour and mischief. We've been coming here for years and as far as we can remember she's always been here - a well kent face - as we Scots say. She goes out of her way to provide a great service to the guests and make everybody's stay special. Even when, at 8pm every evening, she has the ritual of putting the rope chain across the swimming pool, she does it with such charm and humour (and authority it has to be said!), that no-one complains.
