granton harbour

i spent a lot of my childhood & teen years here - very reluctantly at the time. my dad was a local yachtsman & raced & sailed from here, & my brothers & i were pressganged into being the crew. we actually won a lot of races.

in those days the high flats in the distance weren't there - think they spoil the edinburgh skyline when viewed from on the water, though the views must be stunning - & a little scary - during a storm!

have finally found time to backblip shots taken at the beginning of june, while i was on the west coast of scotland........am back there on friday for a week or so, (yippee!!!) doing the photowalk in inverary on saturday
