yes, it's a fountain......
so a much needed day off today which was only blighted by having to hang around all morning waiting on the sky engineer. still i did manage to get out after that with baby McD. had a lovely lunch at strada then watched as baby McD tried to drown herself in the fountains outside. (see here for example) that linked shot also goes a long way to explaining why i had to stop and try and buy some dry clothes for baby McD on the journey home. only problem there was that the nearest kids clothing place was quite a trek away. so she ended up wearing a mens t-shirt that i quickly bought in next. it came all the way down to her shins so it at least looked a bit dress like.........although if i'm honest she did look like she could have been working for Fagin! poor kid, she still looked adorable though and by her own admission she had a great day out.
one thing i do have to ask is when did pick & mix get so expensive? we just happened to pass a big pick & mix stall at london bridge and i thought why not? not had something like that in years. so we both picked a few things and three or four scoops later i was £8 lighter. 8 quid! for what is essentially a big penny mixture. the t-shirt i bought for baby McD (in our mini emergency) only cost £7.
anyway this guy in the shot seemed to be having a great time in the fountains with his mates. they really were getting quite excited over water being pumped into the air. each to their own.
last day on my usual wednesday project tomorrow which is a bit of a downer. it's been a good job and the folk there treat my guys well.
enjoy the rest of your week blippers.......
