The Strip

This area of Christchurch is know as "the Strip". For an entire block in the central city, every building is a cafe/restaurant/bar. On beautiful days like today you can wander along and sit at any table outside for a wonderful relaxed lunch. (I did). It doesn't really matter which cafe you sit outsite, the food's universally excellent. The outlook is onto a strip of parkland and the banks of the Avon river. At night they all metamorhasise into bars and it all gets a bit more raucous.
