Shadows
The pixies all went to school today. They were a little shell-shocked when we caught up with them at interval. They have all decided that they are lucky to be at school in New Zealand, they figure that getting up at 5.30 am to go to school and then not finishing until 5.30 in the evening is just a little too much. They also said that the kids? relationships with their teachers were completely different. It?s good every now and then to show them something a little different.
Knowing that they would be safely in school all morning, I thought I would be able to get out and take some pics today, but unfortunately I spent most of the morning running up and down the big hill by the school, sorting things out.
We had a lovely picnic lunch in the town square, baguette, cheese and tomato, followed by a cold Orangina ? perfect. Then we went to the New Caledonia Museum and saw some amazing old artefacts. I couldn?t take any pictures inside the museum and was beginning to think that a contrived shot was going to be required, when I chanced upon this shadow of a palm tree on the museum wall.
A bottle of wine, tea and an early night. Very tired.
