Rainbow Kyle

Dave and I made another trip across the sands to try for the sea trout that visit the Kyle of Tongue.

As usual, we missed the tide and it was already coming in by the time we waded the 3/4 of a mile across the sands. But it was as fantastic as ever to be out there in the peace and under the massive skies covering that incredible place. It is so empty and beautiful that it feels slightly out of this world fishing there.

Bands of rain and sun blew across the Kyle as we fished and when we got back to the bank, a rainbow formed over the Viking fort.
