Water bust

We don't know if someone hit a fire hydrant or a water main busted, but it sure slowed down traffic on the freeway because people just had to look. We are on a hill above the freeway and the freeway is above the fire hydrant, so that gives you some idea of how high the water was shooting up.

Today Lia acted as if she didn't just have surgery the day before. So much energy! Luckily, Lia and Evie get along great and they played together all morning. Today we noticed that the end of Lia's tail is bent from being broken in the past. She must have had a really tough life before getting picked up off the street. She seems to be a quick learner and has not chewed anything up and only had one accident in the house today.
