Traffic

This is technically not the best photo, but it allows me to rant about the traffic on Snoqualmie Pass. "Heavy weekend traffic" was the official reason for the 40 or so miles of stop and go from Indian John Hill rest area to the top of the pass. I have always laughed at travelers like that when we have been returning from a weekend in Seattle - now I was one of them. It is maddening, when there is no apparent reason other than too many cars on a road not designed to accommodate them. It took me almost an hour longer than usual to get from Yakima to Seattle. Not a fun way to end a great weekend.
