Widow's Willows

Another gloomy day after another... This dead tree is reminding of willows and webs and all things stringy and connected.

Our neighbor is my Ma's old old friend way back in the 1950s. They knew each other from church choir and was surprised when they met again after 40 years and more happy for being neighbors. Sad though because Manay Rosy, as we dearly call her, moved on to live with her daughter and grandsons. Now her once-well-kept garden is slowly turning to a jungle.
