The Break of Dawn

Honours Year has been hectic hectic hectic..
The assignments seem to be sucking the life out of us sometimes.

And here I was, awake since 8am the previous day, still working on my essay.

It was already one day late, and I didn't want to prolong it any longer, so I continued working on it, till the very next day.. and before I knew it, it was dawn.

The sky glimmered a maroon red, to a purplish-pink tint..
and I thank God for that.
Really thank Him.
As in spite of all the tiring times, I was awake and priviledged enough to witness the breaking of dawn.

What a wonderful sight, and oh, how fleeting it was..

but beautiful,
yes it was.. :)
