today, having got up at crazy o'clock, we went off to the market. i got 3 pairs of new earrings and then we found a stall selling alcohol...dangerous at half 10 in the morning

tid, chris and myself (not pete - he was driving) were given very large sample shots of pommeau (22%) calvados (42%) and then calvados mixed with cassis. by 12 we were after hangover food and found it in the form of a rather large sausage baguette.

we all did "the mile run" this afternoon, a course set up by another of tid and petes visitors. (by this stage we had sobered up!!) i am pleased to say not only did i complete without stopping it but i am still alive to tell the tale - and it wasn't too bad of a time either. not bad for someone who hasn't run for 7 years!!
