John Dee

The entrance to a favourite haunt of the common or garden Jarvis in Oslo, John Dee. It's one of the city's very best live music venues, with great sound and sight lines, and of all the venues in Oslo it seems to get the most Jarvis-like bands passing through on a regular basis. Neutral Milk Hotel played there many years ago, and The Low Anthem are playing there next month. And of course, bar staff have sometimes been known to give Jarvises a discount on their beer.
