I have been offline for the past few days due to a simple project spiralling way out of control..

I merely wanted to get the RV out of storage, do some basic maintenance, load it up, and take a short, three day trip. Unfortunately, the motorhome has a mind of it's own and every "simple" maintenance task morphed into multiple projects.

Example: Changing a taillight turned into an three-hour search for a short circuit. After awhile, the tailight lens seemed to be mocking me - much like the computer HAL in the movie 2001...

The short list has turned into a very long list of items requiring several days work and forcing the cancellation of the trip.

They say the two happiest days in an RV owner's life is the day you purchase a motorhome - and the day you SELL it....
