Just to prove there was sunshine, once, in the north west of England. This is the view from the cottage we stayed in in Kirkby Lonsdale, a lovely town midway between the Yorkshire Dales and the Cumbrian Lake District. It's one of my favourite views, which made choosing a photo (of the hundreds I've taken) difficult. Tried to upload a version I've altered a little, but there seems to be a gremlin in the computer/Firefox/Blipfoto so I've given up...
