I found the nut on the floor crying today, turns out he was frustrated because he couldn't reach this rabbit on the shelf. And also tired, hence the dramatic over-reaction to his lack of height. Anyway, I let him take it up to bed, and he'd completly forgotten about it's being a night light, so he sat there for awhile saying

'oooooohhhh WOW!'

every time it changed colour, till he became so overwhelmingly cute I had to pick him up and we lay on the bed together while he whispered a little song of rabbitty love to me.

I let him sleep till 4, because we had a beach BBQ to go to, so he could stay up late.
