This morning the heavy sleep medication was stopped and we really had a bit of contact with R. He could blink his eyes for answer when asked a question. He's breathing almost by himself with a little help of the ventilator. His temperature is now 37.6. He will be needing the Ventilator stil, because of a respiratory infection which causes lots of mucus (?) in his lungs. Would this be the big turning point?
