Heron

I laughed in the face of torrential rain and went for a 26 mile bike ride today. There was not one part of my clothing or anatomy that wasn't wringing wet after five minutes. As I staggered up the stairs carrying my bike, my sodding sopping wet shoes slipped and I bounced my mouth of the handlebars. I am now sporting a fat lip.

The picture is of a heron (it's a bit blurry because of the rain (!)) and it looks about as chuffed as I am with the summer weather on what is the start of my two week break.
