The Denburn in spate

This is The Denburn which runs through Aberdeen, seen here in at Gilcomston Mill, one of the few places where it is above ground these days. It is usually a wee trickle but today with all the rain we've been having it was roaring and filling its whole channel but luckily it didn't cause any flooding this time (as far as I know).

A short distance from the spot where I took this photo, the burn goes back into a culvert never to see the light of day again, :-(
