Fabric critters

I had to go to the dentist today, I got there in just enough time and then realised I'd left my phone on the front seat of the car. Had to go back and get it. On my way back I passed a shop selling a load of these things! I just had to buy some, they are the cutest critters I've seen in a long long while :) All the dentist did was poke the hole that used to contain a tooth, (I had it out a week and a half ago) and my mouth was on edge the rest of the day. Couldn't face any more fillings :(

Managed to get the wages done at work today despite having very little sleep last night, and Ben, when he got home from nursery, slept nearly 2 hours. So I've barely seen Ben today.

Until this evening that is, when he didn't want to go to bed again. 9pm saw us traipsing round the garden in our pyjamas watering the plants (well, I was, Ben was trundling his trolley around at high speed).

10pm saw Ben still procrastinating. Ben's daddy wanted to take some pictures of him as he wasn't going to bed, and then Ben decided he wanted to take pictures instead. I got some snaps but they weren't very good, however Ben's daddy got a pretty good snap of him!

I guess Ben wanted to spend some time with mummy and daddy before going to bed. Possibly. I suppose I could give him the benefit of the doubt.


In other news, a mouse poked its head out from behind the breadbin this evening and regarded me, before turning round and casually disappearing.
