Snipping and tucking
Spent a post-work-day evening snipping flowers and tucking the very seriously hacked privet hedge back into itself. We decimated it a few months ago when it started to interfere with getting to the front door. The only thing is half is in our neighbour's territory and half in ours. When we'd finished hacking our half, it looked very weird, with our neighbour's side still a lovely rounded shape, and our side reminiscent of the Yosemite dome. Our neighbour, who isn't that keen on us anyway (although I don't understand why) hasn't spoken to us since.
Anyway, here's the blossom from one of the weeds in our garden.
