War
I went to the library, and found old newspapers spread over one table. Someone was doing research on these.
Tuesday, 10th August 1943.
Allied troops have invaded Sicily. President Roosevelt returned from Canada. Drunken American soldiers and Sicilian civilians (?) ended up fighting, 7 dead, 14 injured. Finns are fighting Soviets. Life in St. Petersburg is unbearable.
