Spring is on its way

And the little flag irises are out in all their splendour to confirm it.

The days have been beautiful this week - with high teens/low twenty degree C for our maximums. There is a price to pay for those lovely clear skies - the nights are well below 10C. The stars out here in the (not so far from the city) bush are sparkling gloriously.

That means that one is constantly donning and casting layers of clothing, not to mention carrying around discarded items from one's offspring. Ah, the joys of motherhood!
