Ladybird, ladybird, fly away home
because it looks like your meal ticket is about to take off.
This is probably going to be the last ladybird blip, and wasn't really the focus of this picture.
The difference is in the aphids. Compared with a couple of weeks ago, they are now looking huge and terribly well developed - so it's clearly the end of term for them as well as for the kids.
I wonder if mother aphids feel the same way as I do about no longer having any children in the infants school? They're probably just relieved that they don't have to make packed lunches for them.
