Day 5.

And today's blip was a little bit lazy.

Wanted to keep on with the textiles, and creating textures and some interest in the fabrics themselves, so thought I'd try a technique that I sort of mastered during the last year of my HND, or thought I had. Until I tried to do it this afternoon on a piece of lining material. It works from a variation on pin tucks that are then stitched going the opposite directions to give the small wave/ripple like effect.

So this blip was taken of the same technique I was trying out, but on part of a top I had bought a while back. Will keep trying with this one and maybe some day I might blip all my failures, and possibly a success story! :)
