Steatoda grossa

Had a brilliant day .. the sun shone and the guys who work on the estate are finding lots of stuff for me to photograph including butterflies .. slow worms.. spiders... deer and so on..
today i have chosen a spider .. this is one of the few poisonous spiders in the country and one bite will need hospitalization.. it is related to the black widow..
Darren lifted a man hole cover and then picked it up and let it run over his hands so i could get a good photograph... he is so brave.. i wouldnt have lifted the man hole cover let alone touch it.... and i only met him today.......
