St Giles-in-the-Fields
This is the lock to one of the gates into St Giles which today sits in Centre Point which has to be one of the ugliest buildings in London.
The history of the Church is fascinating - for me the most bazaar antidote is that it was the last Church en route to the gallows at Tyburn and the Church Wardens paid for the condemned to have a drink in the pub next door before they went to be hanged.
