Yipee for 50D.....

....actually, yipee for Direct Line. I phoned the lovely people at DL on Wednesday evening at 8pm to let them know that in my opinion, my 40D couldn't be repaired. By Friday at 12.30pm, they were attempting to stuff a 50D through my letter box, whilst I was still at work. Fortunately, they took it to the nearest post office and not the main Parcel Force depot in Sighthill, so I had a gently stroll in the early morn sunshine up to Norton Park to collect my new toy. I've not been asked for proof of purchase of the 40D or to have the 'broken' status verified professionally, or even to return the damaged goods. Amazing, speedy, hassle-free claims service.

I've got a big weekend of study coming up (exam is two weeks on Monday), so Nancy and Owen have gone camping. Hope you all have a nice weekend blipchums.
