The carousel is back in Princes St Gardens in Edinburgh. Such a lovely thing - mainly because it makes everyone who sees it smile!

I do tend to think of it as a winter thing though, for some reason - maybe because it seems to have a more romantic air when it's cold? Or maybe I've just watched too many slushy movies!
