From the Sublime to the Surreal

Backblip (the second of many to cover ten days holiday):

Today was our first full day in Prague and we took it easy to acclimatise to the unexpected heatwave. First we went shopping to stock up on food...the nearest large supermarket was a Tesco!

The rest of the day was spent getting our bearings of the locality around the apartment and we experienced everything from the sublime (like this view from the Charles Bridge) to the surreal sight of Giant Baby statues on Kampa island. It seems that language will not prove to be a barrier as many people speak English and the local Municipal Signs have pretty clear pictograms laving you in no doubt!
