Blackcurrants

Planted 6 blackcurrant bushes this year and while they have not grown very big they all seem to have survived and are producing some fruit. I never pick the berries but leave them for the birds. Hopefully they will start to grow next year and in the years to come provide a good supply.

Fruit does grow in Shetland if you can find enough shelter and a sun trap.
