Collecting the eggs...

...and found that this one had a feather from one of the young silver laced wyandottes which had got stuck to it! Each of the young hens feathers is a mixture of white and black - mainly that the insde of the shape is white and the outside of the feather is black. they are very pretty but, this particular one is very tiny.
