adequacy
Leaving my old running-trainers alone for a month or so before trying the new ones again seems to have worked as they no longer seem quite so weirdly and offputtingly bouncy. It's still difficult to not fall into the habit of concentrating too much on the roll of my feet as I felt I had to with the old ones in order to lessen the knee and ankle impact of their decreased cushioning, but if I try and do that with these then I end up feeling my back go all weird and tense. Trusting the bounce seems to work but as I've been mostly cycling rather than running and walking for the past couple of months it'll take a wee while to get back into it. Still no complaints about the trainers' widths, which is the important thing.
