at the close of a day

Not really an unproductive day but, nevertheless, I've been at loose ends with Ingrid just gone.

It was nice to sit in the yard at the close of the day, though, and to look at the trees.

I do, indeed, love the ocean, but I've been around trees a lot longer, and they've always been a blessing.
