What a load of ballcocks

The toilet stopped flushing/filling back up over a month ago. But being a concealed cistern required the dismantling of the entire fitments, cupboards, shelves, sink, so the job kept being put off. Finally found the problem, replaced a diaphragm but then the cistern would not stop refilling. Then replaced the ballcock entirely, but now something else is leaking and requires a new washer. Ah well the sink, inset in a worktop will be laying in the hallway for another week then.
