the last of the toms

There wasn't the sun that the weathermen had promised today, warm and very still but no sun.

As the leaves weren't actually falling from the trees the day was spent sweeping those up that had fallen in the week. It took ages and there was a great mountain to cram into the compost bin.

I cleared the greenhouse out aswell and harvested the last of the mini tomatoes. There are still lots of green ones on the "Big Boy" plant but I don't think there will be enough sun to get them ripened now.

Back to Asda providing the salad now - a sure sign were heading towards winter.
