We went to Sitges today, which is about 30 mins drive south of Barcelona. Not quite Cadaques as you can see, but still has its own kind of charm. We come here more often out of season to walk along the front, blow away the city cobwebs and have a paella lunch. My mother-in-law was amazed to see it like this as she's only ever seen it in the winter months and she couldn't quite believe it as she turned the corner and saw the long expanse of beach, bodies and coloured parasols! We had what we think was one of the best paellas in a long time here today. Paella should only be eaten when you can see the sea and hear the waves! Tomorrow we say hasta luego to Jean and bienvenido to our friend Rachel who arrives from York to stay with us till Friday! Hopefully you'll see her on Lifeturns!
